Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Lawn Care Worker and bring outdoor spaces to life! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes through expert lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening. Your hands-on skills will ensure lush, healthy lawns and beautiful outdoor environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and equipment, and contribute to the transformation of outdoor spaces into vibrant, inviting areas. Duties Mow lawns using power mowers, ensuring even cutting and a manicured appearance. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, trimming, pruning, and shrubbery care to promote healthy growth. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including planting, digging, aerating, and soil preparation. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary repairs to ensure proper watering. Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and assessing tree health to support safety and aesthetics. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible. Support hardscape projects by preparing surfaces, laying pavers or stones, and installing features like patios or walkways. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating lawn care equipment and hand tools. Knowledge of landscaping techniques, horticulture principles, and garden maintenance practices. Experience with landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting. Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, excavators, and other landscaping machinery safely. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair is a plus. Strong understanding of tree care practices including trimming and health assessment. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is required. Prior experience in construction or hardscape installation is advantageous but not mandatory. Join us in creating beautiful outdoor environments!
