In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a variety of landscapes at our vacation rental properties, ensuring they are healthy, beautiful, and functional. From lawn care to hardscape installation, you'll play a vital part in transforming outdoor environments into inviting and sustainable spaces. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in all seasons, utilizing your skills and enthusiasm to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weeding to promote healthy turf growth. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like trimming, pruning, planting, and soil preparation. Use equipment such as riding lawn mowers to support construction projects or seasonal maintenance. Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes. Execute hardscape projects. Follow instructions as prescribed by supervisors, have a can do attitude and a positive impact on those you work with. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge for operating equipment. Expertise in lawn care practices including mowing, and edging. Knowledge of landscape maintenance routines such as pruning, planting, irrigation management, and gardening. Ability to perform tree care tasks including trimming, pruning, and health assessment. Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor projects and site preparation. Excellent hand tool skills for precise gardening and landscape work.
