Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes and gardens. This role requires a passion for outdoor work, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively. Duties Perform regular lawn care tasks, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing to ensure healthy grass growth. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, and weeding to enhance the beauty of the grounds. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks. Irrigate gardens and lawns appropriately to maintain optimal moisture levels for plant health. Maintain cleanliness of grounds by removing debris, trash, and other hazards from walkways and garden areas. Assist in the design and installation of new landscape features as needed. Monitor plant health and report any issues such as pests or diseases to management. Skills Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to groundskeeping tasks. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including irrigation practices and landscape maintenance. Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of landscape appearance. Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting on tasks completed.
