Job Summary Welcome to Wilmington Landscapes. As a Landscape Crew Member and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic position involves working outdoors in all seasons, assisting with a variety of landscape maintenance and construction projects. You will gain hands-on experience in lawn care, hardscape installation, tree trimming, irrigation, and more, contributing to the creation and upkeep of stunning landscapes. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including trimming, digging, and installing landscape features Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, plant and sod installation, and other construction projects Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of landscapes Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep properties safe and accessible Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, or horticulture is preferred Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus Knowledge of tree and plant care practices including trimming and planting techniques Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; able to work outdoors in various weather conditions Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Prior experience in irrigation or hardscape installation is advantageous but not required Join us in creating vibrant outdoor environments while developing valuable skills in landscaping!
