POSITION

Seasonal Inside/Outside Maintenance Part-Time - Seasonal - to begin May 26 (start dates can be through June)

SUPERVISOR

Head Groundskeeper Director of Facilities FLSA:

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge & experience in grounds care, to include routine maintenance, mowing, trimming, edging, tree pruning & removal, shrub pruning, planting, bed care, irrigation, aeration, seasonal cleanup, etc. Insurability by the District's vehicle insurance company Ability to perform minor tasks in the repair & maintenance of playground equip Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs up to a distance of 50 ft on a routine basis Physically able to perform tasks under working conditions which require walking, standing, lifting, carrying, and bending over for long periods of time Ability to carry out oral & written instructions, including but not limited to schedules, work orders, and product labels Ability to work without supervision Must be flexible, and willing to adjust quickly to the changing demands of a busy rural/urban school district Must work well with others

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Fertilizing, seeding, aerating, mowing, string trimming, edging, care of planter areas, playground care & repair Moving district furniture, boxes, etc. Pruning of plants, shrubs, and trees All aspects of grounds improvements, maintenance, and upkeep All other duties as assigned All applicants must Westside Community Schools is an EEO employer
