Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant team as a Gardener and immerse yourself in cultivating stunning landscapes, lush gardens, and thriving plant environments. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to apply your horticultural expertise, enhance green spaces, and contribute to the beauty and health of outdoor environments. Whether working in an ornamental garden, greenhouse, edible landscape, or water garden you'll play a vital part in nurturing plant life and maintaining pristine grounds that inspire and delight. We are a small company and we work hard, but we also have a lot of fun! Duties Implement landscape maintenance tasks, including pruning, planting, mulching, staking, deadheading, feeding, wildflower meadow management, and edging to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Monitor watering systems and availability to ensure optimal schedules that promote plant growth and conserve water Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support healthy ecosystems and effective pest management strategies Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, trimming, digging, and other gardening activities Maintain greenhouse environments by monitoring temperature, humidity, and plant health to support growing projects Learn how to integrate ecological and permaculture based stratagies into conventional garden spaces Experience Proven experience in gardening, landscape maintenance, or horticulture roles with a focus on plant care Familiarity with organic pesticide management practices following safety regulations Ability to identify plants accurately and diagnose common pests or diseases affecting greenery Experience using hand tools (e.g., pruners, shovels) and power tools (e.g., trimmers, blowers) safely and effectively This position is ideal for passionate individuals eager to grow their gardening expertise while contributing to local ecology.
