Overview Join our dynamic team as an Irrigation Technician and play a vital role in maintaining lush, healthy landscapes through expert irrigation and landscape maintenance. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your mechanical skills and horticultural knowledge to ensure irrigation systems operate flawlessly. Duties Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution across landscaped areas Troubleshoot irrigation issues using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components, including valves, pumps, controllers, and sprinkler heads Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, pruning, and general landscaping projects Operate construction equipment safely to facilitate system installation or repairs in various outdoor environments Use horticultural knowledge to support healthy plant growth and landscape aesthetics Maintain detailed records of system repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for accountability and future reference Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working with irrigation systems or related equipment Familiarity with lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators is highly desirable Background in horticulture or landscaping helps enhance understanding of plant health and landscape design principles Ability to follow safety protocols when working with construction equipment and power tools Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions Prior experience in outdoor maintenance roles or landscaping projects is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right motivated candidate This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant outdoor environment while contributing to beautiful landscapes.
