Job Description

Job Summary:
Duties to performs outdoor landscaping and grounds maintenance work for residential, commercial, or public properties. This position involves physical labor, operation of landscaping tools and equipment, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of landscapes to ensure properties are attractive, healthy, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Mow lawns, trim grass, and edge walkways and driveways. Plant, water, weed, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation. Spread mulch, soil, fertilizer, and other landscaping materials. Assist with landscape construction projects, including planting beds, retaining walls, patios, and irrigation systems. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters. Remove leaves, debris, and litter from properties. Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment. Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, spring cleanup, and fall leaf collection.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more. Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment. Valid driver's license preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
Working Conditions:
Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and kneeling. Exposure to dust, noise, pollen, and landscaping chemicals.
Compensation:
Hourly wage based on experience. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying physically active, and contributing to the appearance and upkeep of landscapes and outdoor spaces.
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
