Landscaping and Lawn Care

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of groundskeeping practices. This role involves working outdoors to maintain and enhance the beauty of residential and commercial properties through various lawn care techniques. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing debris from lawns and walkways. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects. Assist in building and maintaining garden beds, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Conduct regular inspections of lawns and landscapes to identify issues such as pests or diseases and implement appropriate solutions. Engage in snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients. Maintain equipment by cleaning, sharpening blades, and conducting routine maintenance checks. Dig holes for planting trees or shrubs as needed and ensure proper care is provided for all plant life. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred. Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of tree care practices is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
