Responsibilities Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure healthy, lush lawns. Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like pathways and patios. Operate hand tools (e.g., shovels, pruners) and power tools (e.g., trimmers, blowers) safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks. Use equipment such as excavators and snow plows for construction projects or seasonal snow removal. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and health assessments to promote safety and growth. Install irrigation systems and perform regular maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas. Assist with general site maintenance tasks such as debris removal, soil preparation, planting, and garden upkeep. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools for safe operation and troubleshooting. Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and snow plows with confidence. Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and health assessment. Familiarity with hardscape installation such as pathways or retaining walls. Understanding of irrigation systems installation and maintenance processes. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
