This energetic position involves assisting with a variety of landscaping, horticultural, and maintenance tasks to ensure our projects meet high standards of quality and aesthetic appeal. Whether you're trimming trees, maintaining lawns, or helping with hardscape installations, your contributions will help create inviting landscapes that delight clients and communities alike. This paid position offers hands-on experience in landscape maintenance and construction, perfect for individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and mulching to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, trimming, and installing landscape features Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and snow plowing during winter months Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient water use across landscapes Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, or horticulture is highly desirable Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required; training will be provided if needed Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures when handling tools and machinery Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new techniques in landscaping and construction projects Prior experience in tree care or irrigation systems is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor work who want to gain valuable experience in landscape construction, maintenance, and horticulture.
