Landscaper

Tasks Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy lawns. Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like patios and walkways with precision and care. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, pruning, trimming, and general landscape maintenance. Operate equipment such as walker lawn mowers, excavators, snow plows (seasonally), and irrigation systems to support various landscaping projects. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and health assessments to promote safety and growth. Assist with gardening duties like planting new greenery, mulching beds, and seasonal clean-up to keep landscapes vibrant year-round. Support construction projects involving landscape installation or renovation by collaborating with team members on site preparation and hardscape installation. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools including power tools and hand tools. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly preferred. Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques to ensure healthy growth. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators safely when needed for large-scale projects. Strong understanding of landscape construction practices including hardscape installation. Familiarity with tree care practices like trimming and pruning to maintain safety and aesthetics.
