Your hands-on skills will ensure that gardens, lawns, and hardscape features are meticulously cared for, transforming outdoor environments into vibrant, welcoming spaces. Whether working on residential or commercial properties, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality landscape solutions that exceed expectations. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep turf healthy and lush. Maintain landscape features including planting beds, shrubs, trees, and flower arrangements with precision and care. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to prune trees, trim hedges, install irrigation systems, and carry out general landscape maintenance. Use heavy machinery such as excavators for larger construction projects like installing patios, walkways, or retaining walls. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure clear pathways and driveways. Support landscape construction projects by installing hardscape elements like stonework or fencing while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling various tools and equipment used in landscaping and construction. Proven lawn care and landscape maintenance skills with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Experience operating power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators is preferred. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance is a plus. Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming and pruning to ensure healthy growth. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks.
