Landscape Laborer

Job Summary Join our dynamic landscape team as a Landscape Laborer and be at the forefront of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments! In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of landscaping projects, from lawn care and garden maintenance to hardscape installation and tree trimming. Your hands-on work will help create inviting landscapes that enhance property value and aesthetic appeal. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, tree care, and shrub trimming to promote plant health and synthetic turf installations. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, and installing landscape features. Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing retaining walls. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinkler heads and controllers for optimal watering. Assist with equipment maintenance including cleaning, fueling, and minor repairs of machinery like excavators and lawnmowers. Experience Prior experience working in landscaping, gardening, or construction environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators enhances your effectiveness on the job. Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care techniques, and lawn care practices is a plus. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to landscape maintenance and construction projects.
