In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces that inspire and delight. From planting lush gardens to designing stunning hardscape features, your expertise will transform landscapes into breathtaking environments. Your passion for horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction will help us deliver exceptional results to our clients. We manage over 100 properties in the Reno/Sparks/ Fernley area. We provide hospitality services to our guests. Duties Perform landscape installation including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy turf. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks like trimming, pruning, edging, and general landscape upkeep. Use machinery such as excavators and snow plows for larger projects or seasonal maintenance needs. Conduct tree care including trimming, pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and growth. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering efficiency across landscapes. Provide ongoing landscape maintenance by performing gardening tasks, pest management, soil conditioning, and seasonal cleanups. Qualifications Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture with a strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators is essential. Familiarity with lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and weed control. Understanding of hardscape construction including patios, walkways, fencing, and retaining walls. Ability to perform tree care activities like trimming and pruning safely and effectively. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is a plus. Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Join us in creating inspiring outdoor environments!
