Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining a pristine, inviting environment for golfers and visitors alike. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring the golf course remains lush, healthy, and visually stunning by performing essential landscape maintenance tasks. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help uphold the highest standards of course quality, making every round an exceptional experience for players. Duties Maintain the health and appearance of the golf course by mowing, edging, trimming, and using power tools and hand tools. Perform landscaping tasks such as planting, mulching, aerating, and pruning trees, shrubs, and flower beds to enhance course aesthetics. Conduct routine inspections of the course grounds to identify and address issues related to land grading, drainage, or turf health. Assist with the installation and maintenance of landscaping features including bunkers, pathways, and water hazards. Use gardening and horticulture knowledge to care for plants, flowers, and other vegetation on the course. Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, safety checks, and basic repairs using various power tools and hand tools. Requirements Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care practices, landscaping techniques, and use of power tools is highly desirable. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like trimmers or mowers safely and effectively. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor manual labor in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining course quality standards.
