  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces!
In this energetic position, you will assist with a variety of landscaping projects, ensuring that lawns, gardens, and hardscape features are pristine and thriving. Your hands-on work will contribute to transforming outdoor environments into inviting, functional, and aesthetically pleasing areas. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance and construction while working outdoors in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Assist with lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to keep lawns healthy and vibrant. Perform landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching to enhance garden aesthetics. Operate hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes efficiently for various landscaping tasks. Use power tools and equipment including trimmers, blowers, and small excavators to prepare sites for planting or hardscape installation. Support construction projects by helping with the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and fencing. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and assisting with system installation or repairs. Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment safely and effectively. Experience with lawn care practices such as mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including pruning, planting, mulching, and pest control. Familiarity with landscaping tools—both hand tools and power tools—and their proper use. Ability to operate small machinery such as excavators or skid steers for site preparation or hardscape installation. Understanding of horticulture principles related to plant health and soil management. Skills in tree care including trimming and pruning for safety and aesthetics. Basic construction skills for installing hardscape features like patios or walkways. Ability to perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access around properties. Strong teamwork ethic with the willingness to learn new techniques in gardening, landscape maintenance, and irrigation systems. Join us in shaping stunning outdoor spaces!
