Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated

MOWER/LANDSCAPER

to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role involves performing a variety of landscaping, lawn care, and groundskeeping tasks to maintain the aesthetic appeal and health of residential, commercial, or public properties. Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and general lawn care. Maintain landscape features including flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements such as patios or walkways. Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas. Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, trimming, and removal using hand tools or specialized equipment like excavators. Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways. Support landscape construction projects by using hand tools and power tools for planting, soil preparation, or installing hardscape features. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols during all operations and handle machinery with mechanical knowledge to prevent accidents. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and hoes. Ability to operate larger machinery including excavators or similar construction equipment when necessary. Good understanding of hardscape installation and general landscape construction processes. Excellent physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor work who are eager to develop their skills across various aspects of landscape maintenance.
