Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our landscapes, ensuring that all outdoor areas are clean and well-kept. This role requires a passion for gardening and landscape maintenance, along with the ability to operate various tools and equipment. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Care for gardens by planting, watering, weeding, and fertilizing as needed. Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Utilize hand tools for various tasks including planting, pruning, and maintaining flower beds. Irrigate lawns and gardens to promote healthy growth while monitoring water usage. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing debris and litter regularly. Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects as required. Monitor plant health and identify any issues such as pests or diseases for timely intervention. Requirements Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of lawn care techniques and gardening practices is a plus, but not mandatory. Ability to operate both power tools and hand tools effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality. Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Good communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
