Job Description

Job Summary:
Come join our team at the RV Resort at Hickory Ridge. As a RV groundskeeper/maintenance worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall functionality and appearance of our properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties:
  • Mowing, weed wacking RV sites and RV grounds, paying special attention to not throw stones or get to close to items near campers. Raking etc as needed.
  • RV site clean up as needed.
  • Able to do meter reads. Will train.
  • Perform general service, repair and maintenance tasks including but not limited to minor repairs, painting, fixing minor plumbing issues, getting fire wood, filling propane tanks for customers. Able to repair broken items such as picnic tables, wooden bridges a plus.
  • Assist in maintaing pool chemical levels (must be ok with using chlorine and sometimes muratic acid
  • PPE supplied). Will train.
  • Able to dirve a golf cart.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues promptly. Report to supervisor as needed for assistance.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in mowing and general maintenance and repair work. 2 years experience minimum.
  • Camping knowledge a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures when handling chemicals, tools and working on various projects.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team.
