In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful, functional landscapes that enhance the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces. Your expertise will help transform properties into vibrant, inviting environments, ensuring every project meets high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, digging, and installing landscape features. Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment for site preparation and hardscape installation. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote healthy growth. Carry out lawn care routines such as aeration, fertilization, and weed control to maintain lush green spaces. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways. Support landscape design projects by installing hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures. Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Ability to use a string trimmer/blower Experience Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant care, and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair or troubleshooting is beneficial. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to detail.
