Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation and maintenance tasks such as planting, mowing, pruning, and edging to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Operate hand tools and power equipment including trimmers, blowers, lawn mowers, and small excavators to complete daily tasks efficiently Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features like walkways or retaining walls Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as irrigation system setup and repair, lawn care routines, and seasonal snow plowing when applicable Perform tree care including trimming, pruning, and basic arborist tasks to promote tree health and safety Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal operation Follow safety protocols consistently while working around construction sites and with heavy machinery Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping practices and horticulture principles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators is highly desirable Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control Basic understanding of irrigation systems and garden maintenance practices Strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaborative projects This role offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
