Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks like digging, planting, pruning, and installing landscape features Support the installation of hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures Perform lawn care duties such as aeration, fertilization, watering, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and performing necessary repairs Support construction projects by assisting with excavation using equipment like excavators and preparing sites for new installations Experience Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with land management equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance best practices is advantageous Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively is essential Experience with tree care techniques including trimming and pruning enhances your suitability for this role Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols and work efficiently outdoors in various weather conditions Experience with walker mowers is a big plus!
