Job Overview Join our dynamic landscape team as a Landscape Laborer and be a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your hands-on skills to maintain and enhance landscapes. You will assist with a variety of landscaping projects, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and tree trimming. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the value we place on your contributions. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools to perform various landscaping functions efficiently Support installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Maintain lawns through proper mowing, aeration, fertilization, and irrigation system adjustments Conduct general gardening activities including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while following horticultural best practices Use equipment such as excavators and snow plows for site preparation and seasonal clean-up tasks Perform routine landscape maintenance including debris removal, soil preparation, and mulch application to keep sites pristine Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping machinery and power tools safely Experience with lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices Knowledge of landscaping principles, horticulture, and plant care requirements Ability to use hand tools effectively for planting, pruning, and general site work Familiarity with equipment such as excavators and snow plows for seasonal projects Understanding of irrigation systems installation and maintenance processes Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Basic construction skills for hardscape installation projects Tree care expertise including trimming, pruning, and health assessment Ability to follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor spaces.
