Landscape Technician

Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure pristine appearance and health of lawns and gardens Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators, irrigation systems, and snow plows safely and efficiently Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety Install hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with precision and attention to detail Maintain garden beds by planting, fertilizing, watering, mulching, and weed control to support vibrant plant health Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and seasonal adjustments to ensure optimal watering efficiency Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing landscapes to keep properties accessible and attractive year-round Experience Prior experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is a plus Familiarity with lawn care techniques including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and pest management Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal Ability to perform construction-related tasks involving hardscape installation or landscape renovation projects Experience with irrigation systems installation or maintenance is advantageous Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and operate machinery for extended periods This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in landscape maintenance while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
