Tree Climber/Groundsperson

Responsibilities Safely ascend trees using rigging techniques and climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access high branches or perform ground-based maintenance efficiently. Assist with rigging operations to secure limbs or equipment during tree work projects. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscape upkeep. Support tree care initiatives by applying horticultural best practices to promote healthy growth and tree vitality. Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to assist with mapping and site planning for landscape projects. Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and communicating hazards promptly. Skills Proven experience in tree climbing, tree trimming, or arboriculture with growing knowledge of horticulture principles. Proficiency in rigging techniques for safe limb removal and equipment handling. Ability to operate bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and other aerial devices safely and effectively. Familiarity with GIS software for site analysis and project planning is a plus. Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care and general landscaping tasks. Excellent physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks outdoors. Knowledge of safety procedures related to tree care equipment, rigging systems, and working at heights. Pay:

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
