Job Description

About us Smithtown Landing Country Club is a public golf course located in Smithtown, NY that strives to create quality conditions on a daily basis throughout the golfing season. Job Description Grounds Crew is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds, including but not limited to mowing, trimming, edging, spring cleanup, fall cleanup, and pruning. This position is full-time but seasonal lasting generally between late March to late November. Overtime is available and pay may be discussed based on current skill set and level of experience. Qualifications Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis Must be able to work in all weather conditions Must be able to safely operate a mowing machine and/or blower Must be able to read and understand instructions and work independently Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
