Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Groundsman to join our progressing tree care team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a good attitude , safety, clean work areas, and advancing skills through progress checkpoints.. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating inviting environments that enhance the overall aesthetic and safety of our properties. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in chainsaw usage, equipment operating while working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Trimming tops to fit into chipper. Operate equipment such as chipper, mini skid steer, and other machinery safely and efficiently for tree trimming, tree removal, land clearing. Assist with tree care activities including removal, trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety Conduct rigging procedures for lifting heavy materials or equipment using appropriate techniques and safety protocols Maintain a clean and organized work site by removing debris and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use Qualifications Valid drivers license must know how to drive standard transmission CDL A or B proffered Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, removal and pruning techniques Ability to operate bucket trucks, bucket lifts, or similar equipment safely is a plus Familiarity with rigging procedures for lifting heavy objects is desirable Basic understanding of GIS technology or willingness to learn its application in landscape planning Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety standards Join us as a Groundsman and be part of a team dedicated to creating beautiful, safe outdoor environments!
