Job Description
Lehigh Lawn & Landscaping is a family-owned, full-service landscaping company with nearly 30 years of experience serving the Hudson Valley area. The company is dedicated to enhancing the beauty and functionality of both residential and commercial properties through creative solutions and superior service. As a Landscape and Lawn Laborer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving outdoor spaces, working alongside a supportive team. This position offers hands-on experience in a variety of landscaping tasks, opportunities for skill development, and the chance to contribute to high-quality project outcomes in a positive work environment. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and general turf maintenance using hand tools and power equipment Assist with landscape maintenance such as planting, mulching, pruning trees and shrubs, and bed edging Operate landscaping machinery and equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other standard industry tools Support hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls Help maintain and repair irrigation systems as needed Participate in snow plowing and removal during winter months to ensure safe access for clients Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety protocols Qualifications Previous experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is preferred but not required; training is provided Familiarity with landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and pruning tools is a plus Mechanical aptitude or experience operating small construction machinery (e.g., skid steers, excavators) is beneficial Ability to work efficiently outdoors in various weather conditions Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Valid driver's license required Benefits Referral program Opportunities for skill development and on-the-job training Supportive team environment People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Offered compensation: $20/hr - $24/hr Experience and License Requirements Driver's License Landscape Maintenance
