Job Description

Saint Patrick's Church has an immediate, full time position, for a caring and hard working person to perform the duties of a Cemetery Worker. The Cemetery Worker will work side by side with the Cemetery Superintendent and will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Glenwood Cemetery buildings and grounds. In addition, this person must be skilled in all cemetery related labor. Landscape related experience to include operating a snow plow, tractor, back hoe, zero turn mowers and push lawnmowers. This position includes a lot of string trimming plus leaf and brush clean up.
Educational requirements:
1. High school graduate or GED certificate recipient. 2. Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work. 3. Evidence of lawn maintenance experience. 4. Strong ethical and moral character references.
Experience:
1. One (1) year lawn maintenance experience. 2. Must be able to consistently lift 40 pounds. 3. Must be able to work in all weather conditions outside. 4. Must be able to work an occasional Saturday.
