Landscape Laborer

Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees using hand tools and power equipment Operate machinery including excavators, lawn mowers, snow plows, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Support installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds Perform lawn care activities including fertilizing, aerating, watering, and weed control to promote healthy growth Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and installing irrigation systems Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, leaves, and excess materials during project completion Follow safety protocols consistently while handling tools like hedge trimmers, shovels, rakes, and power tools Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping tasks or construction sites preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Basic mechanical knowledge related to operating landscaping equipment and hand tools Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions; stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and digging Familiarity with horticulture principles including tree care, gardening practices, and plant health management Experience with snow plowing or winter maintenance is a plus but not mandatory Strong attention to safety procedures when using power tools and heavy machinery such as excavators or hardscape equipment Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully while working independently when needed This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor work who want to grow their expertise in landscaping.
