Full Job Description Description:
Grounds Crew 1st shift is a part-time position employed by Music and Event Management Incorporated (MEMI). Grounds Crew is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the music center property around indoor and outdoor events at The Andrew J. Brady Music Center, ICON Festival Stage at Smale Park, and Taft Theater. We are seeking hardworking, determined people who work well in an individual setting and display good-time management skills. Duties and Responsibilities Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the property and prepping it for future events Dispose of debris, including biohazardous waste and other materials, in accordance with facility policies Learn how to effectively use equipment provided for individual duties Cleaning includes (but not limited to) sweeping, mopping, wiping, sanitizing surfaces, floor auto-scrubbing, and glass cleaning Re-stocking of facility stock including paper towels, toilet paper, sanitary bags, and hand soap Adherence to standards and guidelines with minimal supervision Effectively convey information to designated managers on site. Other duties as assignedRequirements:
Attention to detail Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain Understanding and willingness to work around events, including weekends and some holidays Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift, including stairs Capability to lift up to 25lbs Ability to work in individual settings Ability to work in small groups of 2-6 people, or additionally work alone and accomplish several tasks at your own paceAvailable Shifts Start Times:
5:30 am - 8 am, scheduled based on needs of individual shows. Must have availability to work anywhere between 5 to 35 hours per week.Duration:
