Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf. Assist with landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, shrubbery trimming, and garden bed upkeep. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, and installing landscape features. Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features like patios or walkways. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and making minor repairs as needed. Use equipment such as excavators or snow plows during seasonal changes to ensure safe and efficient site preparation or snow removal. Collaborate with team members on construction projects involving tree care, landscape installation, or site cleanup to ensure timely completion. Experience Prior experience with landscaping, lawn care, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners. Basic mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscape maintenance is advantageous. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is a plus. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant health care and tree trimming techniques is beneficial. Experience in construction or hardscape installation can enhance your effectiveness on complex projects. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards is essential.
