Full-Time Position Overview Connect Realty is seeking a reliable, hardworking Groundskeeper to help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our commercial properties and mixed-use communities. This role is responsible for the upkeep of outdoor grounds, landscaping, building exteriors, parking areas, and shared/common spaces. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating clean, safe, and visually appealing environments and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of property grounds and outdoor areas Operate landscaping and grounds equipment including mowers, tractors, snow blowers, and related tools Mow lawns, edge walkways, and maintain landscaped areas Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges to ensure proper growth and appearance Remove litter, debris, and trash from sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas Perform seasonal duties including snow removal and salting walkways, driveways, and parking lots Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides as needed following safety guidelines Maintain flower beds through mulching, weeding, trimming, and aeration Assist with minor repairs of outdoor fixtures, fencing, benches, and equipment Maintain cleanliness and functionality of sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, fountains, and planters Communicate professionally with tenants, property managers, and maintenance staff Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Valid driver's license required Reliable personal vehicle available for use during work hours Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs Frequent bending, reaching, crouching, and climbing Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain Regular exposure to landscaping equipment and machinery noise Occasional exposure to landscaping chemicals and treatments Please note: Employment with our company requires successfully passing a background check and a federal-level drug screening.
