In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of groundskeeping staff, ensuring that lawns, gardens, trees, and landscape features are kept in pristine condition. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily groundskeeping activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, and landscaping projects Oversee lawn care routines such as fertilization, aeration, and pest control to maintain healthy turf Lead landscaping efforts by planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery to enhance visual appeal Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Conduct routine maintenance on equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools Oversee tree care activities including pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and growth Collaborate with construction teams for outdoor projects like pathways or fencing installation while ensuring safety standards are met Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance and gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or landscaping environments Expertise in lawn care techniques including fertilization, aeration, and pest management Knowledge of construction practices related to outdoor projects such as fencing or hardscaping Skilled in tree care practices including pruning and health assessments Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate team members and coordinate tasks effectively Snow Removal Event Set-Up Join us to lead vibrant outdoor spaces that inspire pride!
