Tree Climber/Groundsman

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber and groundsmen to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with experience in tree trimming and the operation of equipment. This role involves working at heights to perform essential tree care tasks, ensuring the health and safety of trees while enhancing the beauty of landscapes. Duties Perform tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and maintain aesthetics. Operate chipper, grapple, skidsteer, stump grinder and trucks safely for high-access tree care tasks. Utilize rigging techniques to safely lower branches and debris. Assess trees for health issues and recommend appropriate care or removal. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and safety on job sites. Requirements Proven experience in tree care, including tree trimming and maintenance. Experience operating trucks and equipment and understanding of operation protocols. Ability to work at heights safely and effectively using proper climbing techniques. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety protocols. Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
