Job Description
Yard Smart is a rapidly growing, team-focused landscape company serving Northeast Ohio. As a Landscape & Maintenance Team Member, you will play a key role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity with a company that values employee development, provides hands-on training, and invests in new equipment. Responsibilities Maintain residential and commercial landscapes, including mowing, trimming, edging, and general clean-up Operate commercial landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and trailers Assist with planting, mulching, and small landscape construction projects Support snow and ice management operations during winter months Work collaboratively with team members and gain exposure to various divisions, including turf, ornamental, irrigation, fertilization, design-build, and enhancements Qualifications Valid drivers license Willingness to drive or learn to drive truck and trailer combinations Reliable attendance and a strong team mindset Comfort using job-related mobile apps Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Willingness to learn and grow; no prior landscaping experience required Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (open to conversations regarding prior convictions) Benefits Full-time, year-round employment with consistent work in all seasons Medical, dental, and vision insurance Health & Wellness Reimbursement Program Employee Uniform Program with an hourly incentive for participation Access to new company equipment including trucks, trailers, and tools License & Certification Sponsorship (including CDL Class A and Department of Agriculture licenses) Hands-on training and cross-division exposure Clear career path and growth opportunities Team events and employee recognition throughout the year Ready to join the team?
