Landscaper

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of landscaping tasks, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and garden maintenance. Duties Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy, lush turf. Maintain gardens by planting, pruning, trimming trees, shrubbery, and flowers with precision and care. Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows efficiently for various landscaping projects. Use power tools including trimmers, blowers, and compact excavators to shape landscapes and prepare sites. Install hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as irrigation system setup and repair, snow plowing during winter months, and general site cleanup. Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting new trees, and ensuring safety standards are met during all operations. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools to operate them safely and effectively. Prior experience in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant health management to promote thriving landscapes. Ability to handle various hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining attention to detail. Experience operating machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in different weather conditions for extended periods.
