About the Role We're hiring an Asphalt Plant Grounds Person to support daily operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment around the plant. This role assists with material handling, cleanup, basic equipment care, and general support for plant operations. This is a full‑time, seasonal position. What You'll Do Maintain a clean and organized plant environment by removing debris and materials Safely handle and move materials such as asphalt and aggregate Use tools and equipment including shovels and skid steers as needed Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as greasing equipment Communicate clearly with plant operators and team members to support daily operations Follow all safety procedures and regulatory guidelines Maintain regular in‑person attendance Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and working around plant equipment Ability to safely climb and descend ladders Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Willingness to work outside normal business hours as needed What You Bring Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others Positive attitude, dependability, and willingness to learn Commitment to safety and efficient work practices Mechanical aptitude beneficial but not required High school diploma or equivalent What We Offer Company‑paid or discounted YMCA membership Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) program with employer match Employer‑paid life insurance Employee bonus program PTO (Personal Time Off) Holiday pay Employer‑paid Employee Assistance Program If you're ready to work in a fast‑paced environment and be part of a team that values safety, dependability, and long‑term success, we encourage you to apply!
