Landscape Laborer

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of landscape-related tasks, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and tree trimming. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as trimming, digging, and installing landscape features Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and assisting with repairs as needed Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth Support excavation work using equipment like excavators under supervision for site preparation or landscaping projects Experience Basic mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment and tools Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and horticulture practices is a plus Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes), power tools (trimmers, blowers), and small machinery (excavator) safely and effectively Experience with construction or general outdoor maintenance work is advantageous Willingness to learn about tree care practices such as trimming and planting along with irrigation system troubleshooting This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to build a career in landscaping while enjoying the satisfaction of creating beautiful outdoor environments.
