Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscaper and bring outdoor spaces to life with your expertise! In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing beautiful landscapes that inspire and delight. Your hands-on skills will ensure that gardens, lawns, and hardscape features are meticulously cared for, transforming outdoor environments into vibrant, welcoming spaces. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, showcase your craftsmanship, and contribute to the aesthetic appeal of our community. Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy and attractive turf. Use hand tools and power tools to plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery with precision and care. Maintain landscape features such as pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other hardscape elements using appropriate tools and techniques. Conduct landscape maintenance activities like pruning, tree trimming, irrigation system installation and repair, and seasonal snow plowing. Operate machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment safely for site preparation or landscape installation projects. Provide tree care services including planting, trimming, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and growth. Assist with horticulture tasks by selecting suitable plants for specific environments and ensuring proper soil preparation. Requirements Proven experience in landscaping or related outdoor maintenance roles; familiarity with lawn care, gardening, or horticulture is highly valued. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and construction equipment such as excavators. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including tree care, snow plowing, hardscape installation, and general gardening techniques. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep and project completion. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients when needed. Valid driver's license preferred; certification in landscaping or related fields is a plus but not required.
