Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Seasonal Groundskeeper to join our team and help maintain the outdoor areas of our facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, ensuring our grounds remain healthy, attractive, and safe. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about landscape maintenance and horticulture. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, and planting flowers to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks like edging, pruning, and aerating soil. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Conduct routine gardening activities including fertilizing, mulching, and pest control to promote healthy plant growth. Assist with seasonal clean-up activities such as leaf removal and debris clearing to keep grounds tidy. Support general maintenance of outdoor facilities by inspecting fencing, pathways, and lighting for safety and repairs. Follow safety protocols while handling equipment and chemicals to ensure a secure working environment. Skills Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques. Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, and aeration. Familiarity with gardening, horticulture principles, and plant care best practices. Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and saws safely. Proficiency with hand tools used for landscaping tasks like shovels, rakes, and pruners. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
