Landscaper/Groundskeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscaper/Groundskeeper to join our dynamic team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of landscaping and groundskeeping tasks, ensuring that properties are visually appealing, safe, and well-maintained. Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep turf healthy and attractive. Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like pathways and patios. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, pruning, trimming, and general maintenance tasks. Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for landscape installation or construction projects. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, or removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas. Carry out snow plowing and de-icing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for visitors. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping equipment and hand tools confidently. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Knowledge of construction principles related to hardscape installation and landscape design. Ability to perform tree trimming, pruning, planting, and tree care with precision. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting. Skilled in using power tools such as trimmers, blowers, saws, drills, and other landscaping equipment. Excellent maintenance skills for routine upkeep of tools, machinery, and landscape features.
