Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Seasonal Landscaper to join our team and contribute to maintaining beautiful and functional outdoor spaces for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience in landscaping and landscape maintenance, and proficiency with various hand tools and power equipment. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including lawn care, hardscape installation, tree trimming, irrigation setup, and snow plowing, ensuring safety and quality at all times. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control to maintain healthy turf. Execute landscape maintenance activities including pruning, trimming, planting, and mulching to enhance aesthetic appeal. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and effectively for construction or landscaping projects. Install and repair hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal while adhering to safety standards. Set up irrigation systems and perform routine maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients while following established safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in landscaping or landscape maintenance with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Mechanical knowledge related to operating construction equipment such as excavators and power tools. Familiarity with lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and disease management. Experience working with hand tools and power tools in outdoor environments. Ability to perform construction tasks involving hardscape installation or repair projects. Prior experience in snow plowing or winter maintenance is preferred but not required.
