Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper/Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance and gardening, with the ability to operate various tools and equipment. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that properties are safe, attractive, and well-kept, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our clients. Duties Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to promote healthy turf growth. Maintain landscape features including planting beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements through pruning, trimming, and cleaning. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for construction or landscaping projects. Conduct irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure efficient water use. Provide tree care services including trimming, pruning, and removal with proper safety procedures. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe. Perform general groundskeeping duties such as debris removal, mulching, and seasonal planting. Maintain equipment through routine inspections and mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal operation. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge for operating landscaping machinery and hand tools effectively. Expertise in lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques. Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth and garden design. Experience with irrigation systems, snow plowing, tree trimming, and hardscape installation or repair. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various outdoor conditions. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards during equipment operation. Good communication skills for coordinating tasks with team members or clients when necessary.
