Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our outdoor maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty and functionality of residential and commercial landscapes. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to perform landscape installation, maintenance, and seasonal tasks, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf. Conduct landscape maintenance such as pruning, trimming, planting, mulching, and weed control. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for landscape installation and hardscape projects. Install irrigation systems and perform routine irrigation system maintenance to ensure proper watering. Execute tree care tasks including trimming, pruning, and removal with proper safety procedures. Assist with construction projects such as patio installation, walkway building, and other hardscape features. Maintain equipment through regular cleaning and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols at all times during landscaping operations. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients. Skills Strong knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening techniques. Experience with landscaping design principles and horticulture practices. Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery like excavators. Ability to perform tree trimming, tree care, and snow plowing safely and efficiently. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and maintenance. Excellent skills in using various landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and construction tools. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
