The University of Oklahoma is seeking Seasonal Temporary Landscape & Grounds Specialists to help maintain and enhance the beauty of one of Oklahoma's most iconic campuses. From tree-lined walkways to vibrant green spaces, our grounds team plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. If you enjoy hands-on work, being active, and making a visible impact every day-this is the opportunity for you.
What You'll Do:
Maintain lawns, flower beds, trees, and landscaped areas. Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Assist with planting, watering, pruning, and general grounds upkeep. Support campus events and seasonal projects. Work as part of a dedicated, team-oriented environment. Required Education and Experience None. Required Certifications and Licenses Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date Department Preferences Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical capability to perform landscaping and grounds tasks. Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-focused mindset. Landscaping or grounds experience is helpful, but not required.
