Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a passion for landscape maintenance, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. As a Groundskeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our grounds are well-kept and inviting. Responsibilities Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to ensure proper hydration and growth. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through planting, pruning, and weeding. Utilize power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers for efficient groundskeeping. Operate hand tools effectively for various gardening tasks. Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, reporting any issues or concerns promptly. Ensure that all groundskeeping equipment is well-maintained and stored properly after use. Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects as needed. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Familiarity with irrigation systems and techniques is a plus. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Strong knowledge of lawn care practices and garden maintenance techniques. Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day.
