Job Description

Position Summary The Landscaping Tech is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and health of landscaped areas across assigned properties. This role supports the upkeep of grounds through routine landscaping, irrigation maintenance, and seasonal work, while also assisting with equipment care and providing guidance to junior team members as needed. Key Responsibilities Maintain landscaped areas through mowing, edging, trimming, and weed control to ensure a clean and professional appearance Plant, water, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plant materials Clean sidewalks, parking areas, and common spaces, including snow and debris removal as needed Apply herbicides and insecticides in accordance with safety guidelines Install, maintain, and repair irrigation and sprinkler systems Assist with seasonal projects, including installation and removal of holiday lighting Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on landscaping equipment Provide guidance and support to Gardener I team members when lead supervision is not present Follow all company safety policies and procedures while operating tools and equipment Perform additional duties as assigned to support property operations Perform work primarily outdoors with regular exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and precipitation Work in temperatures ranging from approximately 20°F to 100°F while completing assigned tasks Stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods throughout the workday Perform heavy physical labor, including lifting and carrying materials up to 50 pounds Operate landscaping tools and equipment, including mowers, blowers, and utility vehicles Utilize tools and equipment including lawn mowers, weed eaters, rototillers, chain saws, hand tools, irrigation tools, bucket trucks, and street sweepers Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1 to 3 years of experience in commercial landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred Valid Oklahoma driver's license with a clean driving record required General knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, irrigation systems, and equipment operation Attendance Requirement Regular and reliable attendance is essential to the successful performance of this role. Employees are expected to report to work on time and as scheduled.
