Garden Center Support Team

Garden Center Support Team We are seeking motivated individuals who are willing to go out of their way to help customers and coworkers, have the ability to stay on task, and work in a fast-paced retail garden center environment. Training and certification will be required and provided for forklift and tractor operation. We have one part-time position available. This position starts out as seasonal with opportunities for growth within the company. Support Duties and Responsibilities Customer carry out and loading of product Keeping sales area clean and swept Unloading trucks Perform general repairs and maintenance Restocking Tagging products Watering Assist in day-to-day store functions, helping other areas of the nursery when needed Job Knowledge and Expectations The ability of repeated lifting of up to 50lbs The ability to stand, bend and walk throughout the workday Willingness to work full shift outside, in all weather conditions Must be 18 or older to operate forklifts and tractors Retail/customer service experience preferred Building/woodworking experience a plus Dependable and trustworthy Flexible schedule, willing to work weekends Have reliable transportation Ask for help as needed

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
